Who we are:

The first Lincoln club was founded in 1962 by a group of California Republican business people who were dismayed at the viciousness of the primaries at that time, the large sums of money being wasted on elections, and the poor quality of certain candidates and officials. The Lincoln Cub has now grown statewide and is committed to the goals of supporting better government and seeking out and supporting better government and seeking out and supporting superior candidates to run for political office.

Welcome to the Lincoln Club of Coachella Valley The Lincoln Club Coachella Valley was founded in 1994 through the efforts of Dick Oliphant, Senator Jim Brulte and the Honorable Sonny Bono.

Goals and Objectives:

To support qualified Republican candidates; to promote Republican voter registration and to keep ourselves abreast of current events in government by inviting State and Federal office holders, political writers, and others to the Coachella Valley to present their opinions on issues affecting all of us. To provide scholarships and educational opportunities to deserving students in the Coachella Valley.

Philosophy of The Lincoln Club is to promote Republican values and to participate in the political process. All monies raised are used solely to carry out our goals and objectives.

Membership in the Lincoln Club of Coachella Valley is by invitation and requires a sponsor. Annual dues are $500.00 and an additional $250.00 if your spouse, or other family member, would like to belong. Payment plans are available. Members will receive our newsletter, The Lincoln Address, our beautiful lapel pin, as well as one of our distinctive red Lincoln Club golf shirts. Foremost, as a member you will provide the means to present a united Republican front.

During the desert season we hold monthly programs. In addition, numerous special events and an annual gala which rounds out our full political agenda.
